Not even Valentino Rossi was born on a motorbike. Only practice makes perfect. So our events gradually build on previous experience to offer every rider training that matches their riding ability. Our overriding aim is to keep riders in groups of similar experience. Naturally, this makes events safer and more fun for everyone. The colour scheme shows which event is probably best for you and your driving experience. All events are based on this colour scheme. If you’re not sure which one’s right for you, simply give us a call or drop us an email. We’re always happy to help and it shouldn’t take long to work out which one you should go on next.

All Speer Racing events are colour coded in keeping with the driving experience of the participants. We’ve divided the events into five categories:
Advanced Rider Training is basically like road events. These events are suitable for novice riders, riders with no previous race track experience or riders who until now have only stuck to regular road riding.
Getting Started is ideal for ‘rookies’, ie race track beginners who can already handle their bike safely and are steady and fast on the road.
Riders with previous experience on the race track will feel at home in the Sport category. Depending on how familiar riders are with race tracks, we offer instructor-led training (if you’ve only done a few turns on the track, or there are big gaps between rides) and sports rider training (if you’re a frequent visitor to the track).
The Racing category is for riders with plenty of race track experience, so the pace at this level is quite fast. Once you’ve gained enough experience in this group you’ll be ready for our Race Training which will give you plenty of riding time and some direct exposure to the thrill of sprint racing in different classes.
After many, many laps on different tracks, regular participation in training and proper races, you’re ready for the Competition category. You’ll also need to be in this group to enter our cup competitions. At this level, aspiring drivers frequently share the track with professional teams who participate in a variety of championships and join our events for extra training. It’s quite normal for these professionals to participate as guests in our private races and cup runs.
